Mayo will make your hair very shiny......just get a jar and put it all over your hair and then wrap a plastic bag around your head and let it set for about ten minutes or fifteen......you'll have to wash it 2 or 3 times with dish soap (depending on how long and thick your hair is).....oh, and I must warn you, you won't be able to eat mayo for a while because its not the best smelling on your head. A few more tips for healthy hair is to use a soft bristle brush when your hair is wet to reduce in breakage, when you are towel drying your hair don't be a maniac..just gently pat it. If it is possible you should use olive oil shampoo, its organic and very good for your hair though it costs about $4. Be sure to get it trimmed every month or 2 to keep the dead ends away because dead ends stop hair growth. When you are washing your hair in the shower massage your head for a good 2 minutes, this stimulates hair growth. Try not to wear the pony tail holders that have the metal thing on them because that also breaks your hair and if you use heat stylers (curling iron, blow dryer, straightener...) spray your hair with a heat protectant that you can get pretty cheap at Wal-Mart to keep your hair from getting damaged. Good Luck!

you cannot do it without spending money....if you can buy supplements and take them, you will nourish your hair and encourage and support its growth.
GNC has a supplement called "Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.
Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.
If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourshair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results

Eat a healthy diet with plenty of dairy products. A good scalp massage will stimulate the blood flow to the hair folicles which should help it to grow as fast as possible, it can also be very relaxing. Also a cold rinse of water and drying on a cool hairdryer setting will help with shine!

Get a trim. Sounds odd but a little bit of a trim will really make hair grow faster. Brush your hair with a natural bristle brush every day. They used to say 100 brush strokes every day would make hair grow, you don't need to do that many. Massage your scalp with your fingertips, it gets the circulation going.

Massage your scalp everyday to stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles and encourage growth.
Eat plenty of foods containing natural fats, such as seeds, nuts, oily fish and milk. These have vitamin A to keep your hair shiny. Also eggs, poultry and red meat, which are good sources of vitamin B for retaining your hairs natural colour.
It's healthy and natural!
Hope this helps x

To make it glossy rinse it in cold water after you have washed it and avoid using too many heated stylers. For growing i would recommend sea kelp, but you have to buy that im afraid.
