First of all, anything called "Flea Begone" is crap and can potentially be poisonous to your dog. Throw it away. There are only four safe products to take care of fleas that actually work. They are Capstar, Advantage, K9 Advantix, and Frontline. Call your vet to get more information, and make sure that you only buy these products from your vet, nowhere else. Secondly, if the dog is biting it's paws, it probably has allergies. It needs to see a vet. Don't listen to any home remedies you get on line, they can cause serious harm to your dog and only make the problem worse. There are so many different types of skin conditions out there and only your vet can properly diagnose what your dog has. Call your vet.

The person who said she could be allergic to fleas is right, lots of dogs are allergic to them, mine was. Sometimes they're allergic to other things too, maybe something she stepped in, so maybe a good bath. Could be dermatitis or skin infection, so use one of the baths that are specially made for that. Then again, she could have a small thorn or cut on her foot. Check her feet out real good, look between the pads. If you can't afford the expensive flea & tip drops, you should try the Hart's flea & tick drops, (they kill flea eggs & mosquitoes too), you put them on the dog's backs once a month and they work great. If you don't find any cuts, thorns, and the bath doesn't help by tonight, take her to the vet tomorrow.

She has an allergy. Either to the fleas and flea dust or to the flea be gone or to both! You need to get her some predinsone from your vet and the vet can also give you some other stuff to help with the problem. Anytime a dog chews on their feet it is because they itch and are allergic to something! Good Luck

Sometimes dogs get a grass seed in their paw. It works it's way up and irritates the hell out of them, so it might be that.
You feed her well and make sure she's got water, does she get plenty of exercise? Some dogs get twitchy if they haven't got enough to do, especially collies, spaniels, working dogs.
I'm not a vet so I'm not qualified to answer - It'd be best to take her for a check up.

my dog bites his leg all the time too, it looks like he is eating corn on the cob! The vet says it is because he is itchy even though he is on tick and flea medicine. He says its ok as long add the dog is not biting themselves until they bleed.Hope this helps.

Your dog might be suffering from a skin condition like an allergy or eczema/dermititus. Try giving her a bath.

She sounds like she has allergies but check her paw to make sure she did not get something stuck in it.
