No, it is not possible to transmit AIDS/HIV through saliva, although rare cases have existed where both individuals that have had lesions in their mouths and transmitted HIV to each other. If you or your partner have AIDS/HIV, avoid oral contact if either of you have bleeding gums, lesions, etc.

YES!! That's how the dentist in FL infected all those people about 10 years ago, he wasn't sterilizing the instruments properly.
