This is the holiest time of the calendar for Islam and I fail to understand why they would kill during such a peaceful time.Also does the quran teach forgiveness or just revenge??muslims seem to say whatever they want of others,but cause war if any one says any thing opposing them.where is the forgiveness in Al-Islam.This is not the Islam I came to learn and love.

it's terrible isn't it killing and attrocities going on in the name of allah (swt) and the divine prophet (saw), this not what we were taught this is not what the quran teaches and this is most definatley not the example our prophet Muhammed (saw) set for us to follow, islam is about peace and forgiveness this is what the quran teaches us and this is the example we should be following especially in the holy month of ramadan. Inshallah it will stop soon.

this is not a one stone killing all the birds situation
it's obviously a separate scenario a political conflict where muslims are involved
what will you do if you be in their shoes-kill or be killed?
other part of the muslim world at peace are still practising their ramadan as usual
pls be rational in making your assumptions and not make a prejudised one to criticize others as to promote yours
remember it will not make situation any better or the sale's percentage of your religion will get a drastic increase either

It isn't that peaceful since the Koran itself denigrates and bashes non-moslems, then calls for their subjugation or deaths. And Mohamed killed during Ramadan.
We get this from Islam's own texts that Mohamed did such things.
Maulana Noor Muhammad, a spokesman for the Islamic organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam which is based in Pakistan, stated Muhammad often undertook battles during Ramadan.
He continued that “In such pious times, participate in jihad and continue the support to the mujahideen.” “Nowadays, infidel forces want to destroy Islam and the Koranic orders. The fight [against the infidels] is not the responsibility of Taliban and Arab mujahedeen alone; rather it is the responsibility of the entire Ummah [Muslim world].’’
And as for the message of peace that comes out of islam - well, those peaceful verses were abrogated by the violent verses and if there was verse not abrogated - it relates moslem to moslem only. And Sharia outlines it very well that jihad is to '...war against the non-moslems...' in every strategy/tactic of war. So when we hear that islam is peace, or denials of what islam teaches - that is jihad by the word/pen. And all moslems give zakat that the imams divvy up and sharia requires that part of it go to fund violent jihad.

Yea, I wish they would fast on the violent protests and killing as well. I also wish the rest of the Muslim world would fast on keeping silent while terrible things are committed in the name of Islam. If it really is a peaceful religion, I would like to hear some condemnation for the violence. (Not just, we are very peaceful...)

I guess they are trying to show the rest of us just how peaceful they are. The extremists are really pushing their luck. I won't be surprised to see nations start to deport.
