No matter what, your mom will love you. Believe me, I have two children of my own and NOTHING they do would ever stop me from loving them. If you are worried about her being angry, leave the test on the table with a note from you and then wait for her in your room. She should calm herself down before coming to talk to you.

Honesty with your mother is the best thing to do. Why did you get the "D"? DId you not study enough? Do you need extra assistance because something isn't clicking for you? Remember, generally tests are just mechanisms of feedback given to us that allow some insight into the learning process. Look at it as an opportunity instead of a punishment.

If you are having trouble ask for help! If you are just slacking off than you should be scared and not just of your Mother. You are in the process of shaping your future. What you do now will affect what type of future you will have. Now if you can read and understand this boring drivel than you can get busy and get at least a c+ Good luck!

As a Mom I care more about the effort that goes with a test. If my kid puts in their best and gets a D, that's ok, just means we would need to work on it. If you don't do anything to inprove your reading and you get a D, then yes be scared.

You need to walk around the house looking really sad and down in the dumps, when she asks what's the matter, in a weepy voice say, I know you're going to be really angry with me, so I want to say I'm sorry and I will study harder. Then show her your result. Good luck

usually when i did something i know will make my mom angry, i prefer to confess right away and take the punishment rather than obsess and delay the ineveitible. study harder next time. don't worry, your mom will still love you even if she is msd.
