Yes! Totally I thought about calling my unborn child 'Martial' but my second name is not Arts so the token gesture there might be lost in translation. Martial love it - wish I was good at it, time and training as always

Why should I think of martial arts all of the time?
You are not learning the philosophy too well, my friend. You are thinking of aggression. Martial arts teach you peacefulness and being at one with yourself.
Martial arts are second nature - not in the mind. Learn better your Kata and allow your mind the freedom.

No, but when in public, having good awareness of your surroundings and being ready to react to situations appropriately without being paranoid is part of martial arts.

all the time buddy. just like people think about cars, etc. this rubbish that frodo baggins said saying you don't understand what martial arts is about obviously dismisses bruce lee and his passionate conviction towards martial arts.
THE MAN PRACTICED EVERYDAY AND WHEN HE WASN'T PRACTICING HE WAS STUDYING, WRITING AND EXPERIMENTING. if you think about it all the time, WELCOME TO THE CLUB AND DON'T BE ASHAMED OF IT. beats smokin crack or gettin paraletic on alcohol 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
i think about it all the time and write things down to improve my skills. DOESN'T MEAN I'M GONNA GO OUT AND BEAT THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF SOMEONE I COME CROSS CAUSE I DON'T LIKE WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE.
this means you have something to get up in the morning and pursue till you go to bed at night. it means everything you do, work, study, everything, can become martial arts practice. people become drawn to you, not because you do martial arts, BUT BECAUSE YOU'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT SOMETHING! they want to know if and what they are missing out on. And trust me, they do want to know.
in short i want to say CONGRATULATIONS! I AND THE REST OF THE MARTIAL ARTS COMMUNITY LIKE MYSELF SALUTE YOU. YOU MAKE US BLOODY PROUD CHAMP!

I think about it quite a bit, prob'ly about three quarters of the day, but when I'm hanging out with friends, or I'm at work, I know when to put it on the back burner of my mind.

but when I'm out on the street, it does enter my mind that if something happens that i'll be ready for it, because you should always be aware of your surroundings

I used to,but now I just relate most things to it!I would say 70 per cent. Ideally,if I am doing something I should try to just concentrate on that thing. It is hard to concentrate on one thing without your mind wandering to any other thing.

No, not really,
But, I do think what I would do if I were in a situation (fight, attempted rape, shooting...) It something really good to do. It gets you in a mind-set so when anything does happen you know what you would do-In a way your prepared.
