When I first got my black cat, I asked her what her name was. She immediately said, " MAU". So of course thats what I call her. A long time later, I read that the ancient Egyptians, who worshipped cats, called them all "MAU". My Mau is very haughty, she rules the other cat, and always demands the first attention and best seat. She cuddles only when she feels like it and if I go out she lets me know it is not the thing to do . I have heard of people being old souls, but what about my cat, do you think it is possible ?

Yes, anything is possible.
We are here to live...and learn, till it's time for our next soul.

My husband had a cat named Tara when he was a younger that he has always had fond memories of.

We moved into our first apartment together just before Christmas and decided we wanted to get a cat. We found an ad in the local paper for free kittens/ cats and decided to check it out. When we got there, there were cats everywhere!! So many to choose from!

We were walking around and this one kitten ran right past us. My husband said that she reminded him of his cat Tara. Right after he said that she came running right back and sat in front of us meowing at us:) We took her home with us:) Everyday she does things that Tara used to do. Like jump on the table and steal food thats bigger than her...lol She even holds her tail in a question mark when she's curious.

I definitely think cats can be old souls and I think the old souls are the best ones:)
