Rocci Marciano...one of very few to professional boxers to retire from the sport undefeated. Ali was a great boxer/ sportsman and ambassador..but he went on to long and became a punch bag for the younger boxers.

Ali lost 5 fights and the decision went his way in a couple of Norton fights or it would have been more. Joe Louis was champ almost 12 yrs and lost only 3 fights so I can't see Ali being ranked over him regardless of who would have won between them as records don't lie. Rocky Marciano never lost and flattened nearly one he fought at 49-0-0 43 kayo's so he has my vote based on the fact that he never lost.

Cassisu Clay bar none. He did the most and always came back for more. Had the skills, the chin and when necessary the power. He beat George Foreman in his prime, that's all I need to say
