NO. I do not think that would necessarily be a mark of the beast, though. I think when it comes to taking the mark you will know what it is you are doing and you will either take it or die. God will not let His children be led astray and be talked into taking a mark he clearly does not want us to have. I do however, think this could be another form of conditioning. As you bring new technologies in and tell everyone it is for their benefit, you condition them to believe all technologies are for their benefit. Much like a one world religion can be espoused to keep everyone from arguing over the true God and may speak to the side of people who want tolerance. It may even incorporate rituals and customs from all religions to allow for all to feel somewhat safe. Or a one world currency. Sure it sounds good on paper. Everyone would have the same money at the same value, you could theoretically abolish third world nations by bringing them up to everyones standards of living but if you only have one choice then it is not really a choice anymore is it?

Many Christians refuse the chip because they fear it is the mark of the beast. That's plain ignorance. There will be no doubt when something is the mark of the beast because the ID will be tied into a devotion and loyalty to a ruler. In other words, the condition for getting the ID is dependent on swearing fealty to the ruler. Now this ruler will be renowned and will be a great man. It will be easy to swear fealty to this man. Yet the Bible says he is the Beast and anyone who takes his mark will suffer in the Lake of Fire. So Christians are so afraid of taking the mark, that they fear any and all subcutaneous ID chips. My thinking is what is the diff between a card that gets lost and a chip that stays put? The answer is PRACTICALITY. However CONTROL may be an aspect of what is on that chip. Suppose an electric jolt is given every time you speak out against Bush. Wink. Shades of 1984.

Does not do any good, I'm holding out for the small computer chip that can be implanted in the brain, which the brain can use to store Info, like note pad, and phone #, and calculator!
It is about the size of 1 sq inch, and is implanted on top of the brain with wiring into the brain!
With a small transmitter, you could have a phone dialer, and connection to a computer!
I might go for that if the price is right!

I wouldn't get one, and it has nothing to do with my religion and everything to do with my Libertarian politics.
