ok- being as question says"Why do kids poke their tongues out"- doesn't say at someone or you- but just in general- I would say its kinda a comfort thing for some kids- or they might like the way it feels between teeth- my daughter used to run her tongue back and forth and up and down across her teeth- kids just do stuff- sometimes for no real reason- Good Luck- hope this helps some! =)
