How many of you have a boyfriend/girlfriend that finds it almost impossible to see 2 sides of things sometimes? And when they are wrong, they find this really weird way to flip the script and put it on you?
How do you handle it versus fighting all the time?

I thought that was the majority of people......
Ok, now, there are many that do that. GRRRRR!!!! They have you in a catch 22 sistuation. Reread what you wrote right here "How do you handle it versus fighting all the time?"
My question to you, how long are you willing to put yourself through this for this man? Is he really, really worth "handling" or "fighting all the time" with?
Sorry to say, he most likely won't change, he's not had any reason to do so as long as he keeps finding women who deal with the BS.
Good luck to you, you deserve better!

Part of any good relationship is compromise. Agree to disagree. Would you rather be happy or be right? If said person would rather argue a point than just chalk it up to people being different then maybe you need to find someone that can.

State your case clearly, make sure you have all the important details. Then listen to his. Make compromises. One of the responsibilities of having a boyfriend is knowing how to listen to each other, make lots of compromises, and try to make it work. When you feel like your going to get mad, take a nice, deep breath and smooth it out. Keeping a neutral, calm attitude will help you solve problems and find good solutions. :-)

You flip the script, tell them that you are fully aware of what they are trying to do, and talk it out. Tell them to take responsibility for their own and it is "OK" to agree to disagree. Don't be afraid to spell out exactly what the behavior or problem is that they are trying to flip.

Calmly state you position. Relationships are all about compromise. If he thinks he's right all the time and you resent that, this is a big problem. Honestly if this continues you will have another question, Is this relationship worth it?

You break up with him, he's a control freak and he will NOT change. You are right, fight or accept things his way and only his way. I knoe that's not what you wanted ti hear, but I'm just being honest with you. He does not respect you, I doubt he loves you.

Sounds like the maturity level in a person like this is very low. I wouldn't lower myself to someone like that. I would keep walking.
