It was given to me as a nickname once (as a rough translation of 'Trail Mom' but only " more"). I know there is a Hebrew song by that title, but don't really know the significance. Anyone know Hebrew language and culture?

אם הדרך
Literally: "mother of the road", and it is a literary expression for a main road who is devided to many other minor roads.

"Al em haderech" (on the "mother of roads") is also a beautiful song written by Nathan Alterman.
