If she's standing, and either barefoot or in sneakers, you're in trouble. Get her on the floor and turn it into a grappling match and your mass will work to your advantage. You should be able to take a few strikes but if she lands a good one early...you're done.
I'm rooting for her, btw!!

Sorry to say a black belt does not mean much of anything these days. Too many belt factories out there. A few years ago when I was in my 50's and an orange belt in TKD. because of my age and weight I was often sparring black belts at local tournaments. Out of all the tournaments I competed in I only lost one round, not a match just one round as an orange belt. It is so bad now local schools do not have local competitions anymore. It is pitiful the only competitors I ever lost to are from our own school. As far as self defense I see some of the most silly self defense classes at other schools. I see students being taught things that will get you laughed at and worse on the street. I think the time has come for martial arts to redefine goals. Those who expect traditional training should be able to find the real deal. Those who are just looking for a kick boxing workout should realize it ain't self defense or martial arts it just is what it is.

Anyone at any given time can be beat up. But this is not what Martial Arts is about. It is not about beating anyone up. But to answer your question, size and weight has very little to do with Martial Arts. It's skill and discipline. Martial Arts is knowledge on when to turn around and walk away and when to run. Martial Arts don't beat through a stone wall, it flows around as water flows over the rocks in a brook. It don't break into, it bends as a reed with the wind.

Sorry, but a TKD Black Belt doesn't beat anybody up. And a 5 foot 1 black belt? Not a chance in hell.
Martial arts training does NOT make a fighter. Fighting makes a person a fighter, and TKD folks don't fight, they "point spar". Blech.

Unless you are the most goofy and awkward person on earth...you could whip her ***.
5'1" 95 lbs? Give me a break. Size and weight are a huge factor in a striking match, not to mention Tae Kwon Do is a total joke.
Now if she was a black belt in brazilian jiu jitsu, she'd have you choked unconcious or your arm or ankle broken before you knew what the hell she was doing to you.

Ok first off, what is it with these guys who think they gotta test a woman who has Martial Arts training and they don't? do they think their gonna be Mr. big nuts for doin it? I mean c'mon man if she didn't f*** with you, why you gotta think you gotta f*** with her?
Yeah, she'll prob'ly whup your A** my friend, size and weight have nothin to do with it.
she'd prob'ly hit you with a groin strike, and work one or both of your knees so that you can't stand properly and just leave you sitten there wonderin what happened. yeah she'd more'n likely throw you a beatin and the only hand you'd lay on her would be the hand you grabbed her with.
what's your deal with hittin or attackin women dude? especialy if they haven't done anythin' to you?
If you think you can take her, g'head but make sure you've got good insurance and your favorite bed in the local ER picked out before you do.

This sounds like the same question asked a few days ago. Unless her training is totally bogus, yes.
