Make a rich chocolaty icing to add on top...another suggestion would be to sprinkle with powdered sugar (a strainer works quite well to sift the powder sugar directly to the cake!)...or a healthy choice would be to add fresh fruit sliced (mixed with some sugar to bring out the juices) and serve on top of cake with a little dollop of whipped cream!!!!! Yum! Yum!

Try icing. It's sweet, so a not-too-sweet cake should balance out pretty well.
To make the most of it, slice your cake horizontally into several layers (3 or 4) and put icing between each one, then ice the to and sides of the whole cake.
Or instead of icing it all, add some fruit pie filling (like cherry or blueberry) in between each layer, and cover the whole cake with cool whip.

Make a trifle by layering slices or cubes of cake with fruit pie filling and whipped cream. Cover and leave it sit for several hours before serving. Chef had a good suggestion too... yum!
