Its a big question you ask and its one you will have to ask every day. The answer one day will be different to the one the following day. The keys to being supportive are:
1. no one knows how any one feels. No really..... no one knows!
2. She knows what you need to do, but asking will ruin it!
3. The best step is listen............... Don't say what you would do!
3. When she says "what do you think?" ask her what does she feel she should do.
4. Just be there!
4. Don't give advice! just be there for her

If she is your girlfriend, just listen to what she says. If there's ever a time when she gets upset or lonely, tell her things will be ok, give her a hug and help her work through her problems.

On a daily basis though - just do things to show her you care...Make her tea, tell her you love her etc.

If this girl is just a friend though, just give her attention, be a friend when she needs you to be, listen to her, but give her space when she needs that too.

email me the following info for a thorough answer please:

*what did she do to support you?
*how old are you both?
*are you bf/gf?
*do you want to support her back because you feel like you owe her, you feel like it's right, you just want to be nice, all of the above, some of the above, etc?
*what lengths are you willing to go to for her?

I really do want to answer your question, I just need more detail to sound like more than someone who just wants the points.

Looking forward,

You break up with her, she is NOT respecting you or being responsible.
