this is how it is.. i've liked this guy since 5th grade nd since 6th grade he's always had a girlfriend and i didnt want to start anything between me and his girlfriends so i stepped back nd kept my mouth closed all the time.. but this year in 9th he broke up with is girlfriend of a year almost a year nd a half... so since school has started i've been sorta flirting w/ him between 6th nd 7th bc thats wen we see each other the most.... he's always givin me hugs nd crap nd he brings up memories from back when we were younger... my friends say that he might like me but i'm not so sure bc last night at my other friends house people told me that he was makin out with his ex so its not official if they're bac together.... so should i still try to get him or is he already lost?

See how this goe's sometimes a breakup leads to a makeup that heals real fast. Now if in the end he does break up with her and doesnt want to be romantic with her you have to weigh two things .First he is going to be at his most vuneralable to you during the rebound stage that occurs after a break up.You have to be careful about this to a degree because you could hurt him and yourself .He is in deap turmoil .Bottom line if you pursue him recognize this and dont manipulate his feelings . The good news is that it sounds like you care for the guy .A word of caution for yourself on not getting hurt .A rebound CAN be like a one night stand for men .So make sure if your sleeping together that you do things outside of sex.Dont use sex as a weapon to control him .Infact have SEX LOTS OF SEX but combine it with outside activities like movies, sports you name it .Do stuff you like and stuff he likes .Thats important .If you drag him to see a chic flic reciprocrate and let him take you to see over the top action movie 6 ( : ) ) If you dont combine lots of sex with other activities he will see this as a one night stand.If you get the mix right with you being freinds for a long time this could be a very very solid relationship. Dont hit him on spending tons of money on you either .Just do lots of things together .
