Im a breast cancer patient and until I became one I never realize that anything that you use that is plastic is only suppose to be use one or twice after the contents are out of it. I never stop to think that the plastic could be releasing chemicals into the food or drink that I was placing into it, it is a cancer causing element. I don't know how old u are but back in the day we once had milk and other products deliver in glass like milk and this is the best glass can be used more than once, well after reading this I threw away all plastic in my kitchen because it just made sense to me.

Uh...no. Only certain plastics are microwave safe. You cannot microwave standard plastic dishes because they leach toxins into the food. After they cool again, they probably arent toxic anymore, but the bubbles can trap bacteria which may make you even sicker than the toxins would have. Toss it!

Don't know that it would be unsafe but better not to take the chance.

I use plastic plates all the time, a habit we got into living in a motorhome for 6months. They never break!!

I discard them once they get the black spotted type look to them or they are so scratched they just look unsightly.

I do have china, but keep it for visitors.

When in doubt, toss it. Plastic dishes are not nearly expensive enough to risk your health over.

The Ziplock and Glad containers being sold now are so inexpensive there is no reason to keep a container that you are leery about. Throw it away.

it sounds like it is in bad shape, and needs to be throw out, I think if you still use it , it could make you sick. Throw it a way.
