Well firstly, you're a sweet boy for not letting this thing bother you (lots of boys would you know).
How about you tell her to relax and hold her head still and do nothing? Then you do all the active kissing and she can feel how nice it's supposed to feel? It sounds like she has heard too many stories about what to do, and seen too many movies.

go slow . she may not be ready for kissing yet .By her chocolate .Hold her hand. When you do kiss be bold but quick and no tougue the first few times .Also women are very sensitive to bad breath more so than any guy .If im horney and a girl has eaten garlicor breathe isnt perfect it will dampen things a bit . With a women bad breathe wont dampen things it will shut them down compleltley . Get a small pocket traveling toothbrush and close up tooth paste . Excuse yourself to go to the restroom and brush your teeth. Dont tell her your brushing your teeth tho.

If it was me........I would simply make fun of what had happended. At the moment you are ready to kiss her tonite......Just say something Like........."oh I want to lick your ear again tonite" (or eye or wherever your tounge ended up) and smile...Then go in for a great short kiss--pull back and smile and then lay it on her good!

try to take it slow first... or maybe try to tell her when you want to kiss her forher to be ready... just tell her that what was happened is not her fault... just forget it and whatever happens you will still love her.

ahh. i have had a similar experience. and i also blamed myself for a few days. she will get over it. kiss her tonight. it will prove to her that you like her for who she is and not how she kisses, and she will soon regain her confidence. promise :)
