I have a lot of guy friends! Did they want something at first of course but when you are honest with them up front, they are ok with that. trust me if they are a friend a true friend, they will understand where you are coming from!
Some of my best friends are guys and that is because I tell them like it is right from the start and they respect, I think even more than if you lead them on because you don't want to hurt them or loose them as a friend! I hope I helped.
Good Luck to You!
Always Amy

Friendship is part of relatioship. They go together. These day meaning of relationship has been downgraded to sleeping together. It is wrong.Relations can be between Brothers,Boy friend/ boy friend/Girl/Boy friend, girl/girl friend , Mom/Son. Father/ Daughter . Student /Teacher etc... and each relationship has its own charactaristic.and crossing limits of those charactaristics they can be degenerated.but commonn minimum charactar is rerlationship. They are all different forms of relationship. So you can not have a friend without relationship.

In instances like this the guy must know from the start that your relationship is only to be friends. Do not act in away that you would make him think your available

just continue and conduct the friendship as normal. avoid "those" questions and actions. as seen by 3rd parties that you're just friends if not just close friends.

no need to go thru headaches as how to conduct the friendship. best to let each another know the "limits" as not to have any misunderstandings?

sometimes its best to be frank and straighforward than to beat around the bush?

it is really hard to have someone you like be your friend
My advice is if you want to keep him as a friend don't have sexual contact with them
if he really wants to be friends with benefits he will let you know you just have to tell him that that is not what you want
it is difficult

When you tell someone that he/she is your friend ... thats all... Friendship does not permit sexual relations so the other person must understand it...

Just make him realize that you consider him as a friend only....

As a "best normal friend?"

Geez... that's tough.

Just tell him to keep it in his pants, I guess.
