It's a fallacy. 999 words is the tops. The last word couldn't be painted because it hadn't been invented yet.

Because 1000 words would be more of a pamphlet than a book. Also, they would be difficult to translate into English.

Picasso's style was cubism.The literary equivalent of cubism is Archie and Jughead comics. Sure, betty might have been hot, but is she hot enough for archie to leave veronica, with all her money and sex appeal? Who knows? god knows how much i hate that damn comic.
