is there any sort of mechanism or machinary OR whatever that can convert CO2(carbon dioxide) into O2(oxygen) or is there any way? The most detailed and carefully explained answer will get 10points

obviously a lot of people are confused, i asked this question because trees give back the CO2 when leaves fall. I had an idea that maybe the CO2 that came out of the chimneys of factories and many homes could be stored and given back to the environment as O2!

Lots and lots of green plants. The more leaf surface, the faster the chlorophyll will photosynthesise O2 from CO2.

Tfhat's what plants do ☺

Plant life is the machine that your looking for such as rain forest that adsorbs CO2 and gives off O2.
So a large bio sphere heavily planted would be the machine, but for each person you would need a large area of forest.

Photosynthesis is the process. While trees and plants do it, the greens growing in the sea present at least 50 % of the oxygen produced from CO2 + sunlight.

The Process in general is:

Yes... Plants can do it..Our lungs can do it if you MODIFY them...
Im sure there is ..If the Japaneese can make a machine that can analyse a SMELL and actually reproduce that exact smell,Do you actually think that they can't make a machine that can turn co2 in to O2 i dont think so ..So why dont you just put in on google and get your answer..Hope this helped ya

There is no machine, but, you could use a tree, which converts co2 to o2

What you are asking for amounts to 'un-burning' fuel. Photosynthesis is the most efficient method known. If you want to recycle CO2 from factories, etc, nature has been doing it for centuries.

The most efficient would be plants and trees.
They have been doing it for years(millions).
Look it up in an Encyclopedia.

One word: Photosynthesis.
But you wanted a detailed answer so here goes:

6H2O + 6CO2 ----------> C6H12O6+ 6O2
(six molecules of water plus six molecules of carbon dioxide produce one molecule of sugar plus six molecules of oxygen)
