Why is it assumed you don't believe in God if you are not Christian? And if you are not Christian, why are you outcast and hated by christians if they are supposed to be loving? And why do they feel the need to "save" you from a God's wrath when you believe in a more loving God than that?

I don't think this way about non Christians. But the bible does say thou shall not put other Gods before me. Thou shall not worship any other God. The God you believe in is another God. There is only one who is in the name of Jesus Christ. God is all loving and forgiving, but there is only one way to heaven and that's through Jesus Christ.

There are no certainties in life. All things of faith are whatever it is we are more pursuaded to believe. As Christians we do not believe we are better than anybody else. In fact, quite the opposite is true. We believe we have been bad enough to require salvation and mercy from the loving part of God. But in the Bible (2nd chapter of II Kings) it says that God killed 42 little children for mocking the preacher so we are certain he will do what he says when it comes to total and final rejection of the only "plan of salvation" he offered. (John 3:16). I am so sorry you have been treated poorly by Christians. That is not the leadership of God since we also belive that God doesn't just experience love but rather "God is Love". I pray that you from this point will be able to see that in those you speak of while remember they are common man/woman that needed saving to begin with. Most of us believe you need to be "saved" because we are taught that we will be held "responsible" for allowing your eternal damnation. But some of us want you to be saved because it is God loving you and allowing us to be the tool he uses to show it, even when we do not always act with a spiritual mind and say things we shouldn't.
Either way I can assure you God loves you without limits and that is why He wants you to be saved. I would ask you to remember, it is a poor parent who never sees a reason to tell a child no.

Because the Christian God is exclusive. There is only one God and He is described in the Bible. The other "gods" are formed by man attempting to assign attributes to God that are what man decides he should have.

As far as being an outcast and hated, I am sorry you have had that experience. I am friends with many other religions, and while I do not agree with them in religious matters, they are included and loved as friends. I do talk with them about Christ and the Bible and hope and pray that they will decide to follow Christ.

What is more loving than sacrificing your only Son so that countless others could be saved.

One of the things we must stop if we are ever going to get along as an interfaith community is generalizing the intents of a few by applying their warped actions to everyone of a particular group. If someone made you feel that way, they were wrong. If you believe in God, good for you. I would love for you to be Christian, but if you are something else, wonderful. The idea is that you are in faith and dedicated to peace where all God-loving people should be.

I think sometimes that christian people become more wrapped up in having a perfect immage and "looking the part" that they forget the true meaning of ther beliefs. The christians that are humble and forgiving and never judgemental, who realise that they are flawed and do wrong things and want to help the less fortunate are the real heros, after all it was Jesus himself who washed the feet of his followers...and as for the snooty judgemental churchie, well they really have alot to answer for.

There is only one God and thats God the Father. A sinner and a saved person has nothing in common cause we are unequally yoked. I do not hate the lost, and i am sure others feel this way too.

Don't be silly! There is only ONE God. But the Christians and Jews don't believe in the real one. Fakes are everywhere!

Coming from one who grew up in a fundamentalist Christian home...

Fundamentalist Christianity is basically of the belief that anything--yes, *anything*--that is not Christian is all Satanic. Any other god you might believe in is just a demon masquerading to lure you into hell, no matter how wonderful it may seem.

Fortunately, that is not all of Christianity.

You are something very rare. It is called being in spirit.

It is seeing God in truth rather than through the nasty hateful lens that religion forces us to see her through.

I suggest you consider getting a book called the course in miracles. It is sort of the road map for those who wish to get as close as possible to God, but see religion as the lie about our loving source that it is.

Its worth the read.

Love and blessings
