Deep fried crumbed field mushrooms with roast garlic and parsley mayonnaise. Serves two. I would have to say this is my favorite, I think you would enjoy it...Let me know.
Ingredients
4 large field mushrooms
6 tbsp of breadcrumbs
1 egg (beaten and seasoned)
2 tbsp flour
½ tsp thyme picked
4 cloves of garlic
1 cup of picked flat leaf parsley
½ cup of home made mayonnaise
1 lemon
Olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Add chopped thyme to the breadcrumbs and season with salt and pepper. Peel the out side skin of the mushrooms and cut into slices. Then dust with flour, coat with the beaten egg then the breadcrumbs.

Cover the garlic in some olive oil and slow roast in a low oven till soft and golden brown. In a pestle and mortar pound the garlic and parsley to a paste. Then add this to the mayonnaise and taste for seasoning.

Deep fry the mushrooms till golden brown and serve with the mayonnaise and ½ a lemon. Enjoy!

Button mushrooms
Cheese
Chopped chilli
Flour
Egg
Bread crumbs

Remove the stalks of mushrooms to create a hollow.
Add grated cheese mixed with chopped chillies
Stuff the same in the mushrooms
Make a paste with egg an flour (not thick)
Mix with mushrooms
Coat with bread crumbs
Deep fry and serve hot.

3 Eggs
3 C. Italian Breadcrumbs
1/4 C. Finely Chopped Fresh Parsley
2 T. Finely Chopped Onions or Chives
Salt & Pepper to taste.
400G Medium Button Mushrooms, any flavor you like.
Extra Light Virgin Oilive Oil, for frying, or Peanut Oil.
*Lemon Wedges - when serving.

Bowl 1) Add Eggs & lightly beat.
Bowl 2) Mix Together: *Breadcrumbs, *Parsley, *Chives or onions, and *salt/pepper.

*Heat Olive Oil... Test it by adding a drop of batter, if it sizzles, the oil is ready.
*Dip Mushroom one-at-a-time into egg mixture,
*Then into Dry Ingredients.
*Press the breadcrumbs onto mushrooms, to secure.
*Fry about 3 minutes, or until golden in color.
*Remove & Set aside to drain on paper towels.
**Serve with Lemon Wedges.

Buy some bread crumbs. Beat an egg. Dip the mushroom in the egg. Then dip in the bread crubms then abke in the oven.

I made them a while ago,,,,,give the mushies a wipe over with a damp cloth if you need to clean them,,then dust them in seasoned flour,,then into beaten egg,,then into bread crumbs and deep fry until brown.
