the entire flesh inside is edible, with the black seeds and all. pretty much similar to a kiwi.

I never knew about this fruit before and I saw the thing for the first time and was floored on how strange it looked. So I don't know how to eat. But I'm sure it's tasty.

Just peel and eat. Its lovely in fruit salad

The inside part, but it might not be that agreeable to the Western taste.
