I bought a ticket to England to see a lady but now she's gone funny on me. I'd still love to see some of England but I'm short on cash. I wouldn't mind doing farm work or odd jobs in exchange for lodging as long as it didn't involve anything illegal. Any ideas?

Make some friends and fast. Try personal ads.....Maybe even try making friends in a bar. Ask some tourist places if they need help. Sometimes restaurants or hotels will hire short term help. Good luck. I hope you can find something that'll work out.
