Adam was created—not as a child or an adolescent—but as a full-grown, fully mature man, both physically and mentally. He did not have to crawl first to learn to walk, nor babble sounds until able to speak. He was created with these abilities and could communicate with his heavenly Creator and could be set to work to cultivate and care for his garden home. He could comprehend divine instructions and also the prohibition concerning the proscribed tree of the knowledge of good and bad. (Gen. 2:15-17) In those respects, then, he would have been in position to receive a wife at any time How much time elapsed between the creation of the man and that of the woman? The Bible does not reveal this.

When God created Adam & Eve, he said he Created MAN & WOMAN, not BOYS & GIRLS, Eve had to be at an age to conceive, & Adam Had to be at a age to have a seed. To put the Exact age on them is almost impossible, But I would say, they were somewhere around 18-25, God did not give a young boy a job that he could not do.. Most people thinks they were about 20, of course Adam was a little older that Eve. since Adam was first formed & then Eve.

The garden of Eden/Adam & Eve story was plagiarized from the Sumerian myth of the Anannaki. In the original version, the snake was a good guy trying to help humans escape the slavery of these evil beings in that area mining gold and Eve was male. It really has nothing to do with 'creation'.

Interesting question!
For today's standards, most likely about 25!
There standards about 100 or so!
Understand that In the time of The Adam, a person became a man when he reached the age of 100, a child below that age!

Males reach full maturity at age 30, and females at age 24, so biologically, that was likely the point they were at.
At this point, you never get more than 7 years old, as every cell in your body is completely cycled in that time period. Some cells replace themselves faster, such as skin, others longer, such as the brain and heart.
Had Adam not allowed sin to enter the world, the genetic code in the cells would not have begun breaking down as they replicated.

God began the creation of humankind with Adam and then made a mate for him after Adam named the animals and saw that none of them were suitable for a mate. God made woman as a companion or help to Adam. Some Bibles read companion and some read helpmate. Either way the purpose involved both being a help to him and him to her because that is what the mate concept is, that what is given by one is supplekmented by another, generally to make a perfect whole. There was an intention that mankind was to tend the garden and finally there came a directive that they should go forth and multiply. Because I am looking at the order of things, I am thinking that God probably created them not as little toddlers but as old enough to do simple tasks and to speak and name things....and eat fruit but not old enough to recognize the good from the bad. Also in my mind's eye, I can see the pair as old enough to hear and comprehend but old enough yet to obey. You may argue that they were inexperienced and that they had never disobeyed before, but exactly. That is my point. It did not take Cain long to do horrendous things...and I have a sneaky hunch there were a number of things along the way before he offered a lousey sacrifice and killed his brother. Ancient tradition places Cain and Abel at ages in the mid teens at the time of the slaughter. You see, the Bible doesn't give us every single detail of everyone's life but it gives us what is most important to know from it and to learn from. An example of this that Ancient Hebrew tradition tells us that Adam and Eve had 30-some children. That is not hard to believe when you think about the 1880's and pioneers having 15 and 22 out in the most difficult deserts of places like S. California, Arizona and New Mexico. Adam and Eve were in a lucious garden full of food to be tended. Everyone thinks of them as just having Cain and Abel when they were on the plain of Eden which had to be alot like the garden in the middle of it because they went from looking after or tending a garden to after the fall of man, having to work by the sweat of their brows. That meant they worked at getting their food but it grew. It was no desert. Anyway when you go to Genesis 5:4 you read that they had Seth and "other sons and daughters", which ofcourse is where Cain got his wife from. You also learn that they lived over 800 years, not in the ozone of today, or without the canopy over earth that blocked the ultraviolet rays that age us and cause us to die today.
So my comprehension of this is that Adam and Eve were man and woman, not youngsters like little tykes but Eve had to at least be between the ages of 9-13 at the least to have a woman's cycle and Adam slightly older because he was created first but we do not know exactly how much older. It would be my guess that in order for him to be much of a help with setting up a house type of environment that he was probably about 15 or 16 at the least. They may have been older but they were obviously inexperienced as well as unwise so I would guess they were around that age. See, we really don't even know how long they were in Eden behaving and tending to the garden before they disobeyed, had children, lost Abel, and all of that but I would like to think they were obedient for a little while anyway. It could not have been a long time tho or they would have had some wisdom without desiring the forbidden fruit for it and they would have had a little experience. That is ofcourse, only my guess and not something that I firmly believe because there is too little said about it to do much figuring it out. I hope that is helpful to you. I know they are unlikely to have been 90 or something and childless in the garden, so we have to shoot for an age way below that I think. I must also qualify it when I say I think because you must remember that they were not aging or dying yet in the garden so if they had lived under the canopy that was above earth then and ate the all sufficient food God provided they also would have been as strong and healthy as 20 year olds yet when they were 700 years old! I think what is key to the garden part is they were childless, unwise, unexperienced and therefore not very old but not babies, infants, or aged.

Hello!! :o) I like questions like this. I don't really know the answer. But I would assume that both of them were physically able to 'procreate' [have a baby] so that would mean that they would have to be at least 12 or 13. But I tend to think of them as if they were 17 or 18 years old. [At least how WE think of people that age - Obviously they were both only 1 DAY old!!] Craig!! :o)
