What a wonderful question! And I like your handle, too: u&me,
"I and Thou."
Atheists won't need to answer your question, and the people who do will probably flog you from here to hell and back. I admire your courage. ;-)

Here's for the only 2 questions that made since.
1 Yes we are about surviving, but that's not all the is to life.
After all, we are smarter than the other animals.
2 Gravity. Gravity, mades the planets go around the sun.

I don't think people are claiming that we are all about surviving. But biologically speaking, you could say that life is one gigantic battle between genes trying to survive. That's an abstraction, though, so it doesn't prevent me from enjoying a nice cup of tea on my porch.
Your other points are basically that there is beauty and order in the universe, so doesn't that imply a God? To you, I'm sure it does, but not to me. The Universe looks the way it does because the laws of nature forces it to. It's like Douglas Adams' quote about the puddle thinking the hole it's in was made for it, when it simply adapted to the environment it's in.
I don't believe in God but I don't think I could ever prove it. I think if you focus this way on proving God through science, I think you'll just reduce God to a universal handy-man whose function will gradually decrease as we find out more and more about how the universe works.

Life is a great mystery.
Knowledge is a great mystery.
Love is a great mystery.
Through thousands of years, the One True God continuously sends His divine Messengers here to teach us about these realities, in order that we can conduct a more and more beautiful life.
We need to try hard in learning and in putting in action the divine lesson of selfless love.
"Knowledge is not enough; we hope by the Love of God we shall put it into practice. A spiritual universal Force is needed for this. Meetings are good for engendering spiritual force. To know that it is possible to reach a state of perfection, is good; to march forward on the path is better. We know that to help the poor and to be merciful is good and pleases God, but knowledge alone does not feed the starving man, nor can the poor be warmed by knowledge or words in the bitter winter; we must give the practical help of Loving-kindness."

1- I'm not much of a lunch person, so why not?
2- In your mind God is independent of everything, he exists with no creator. Why can't natural physics be independent of any God? Is it easier to say that God is and always will be, and that he created EVERY single law of physics, chemistry, etc or is it easier to say the laws of physics, chemistry, etc have and always will exist independent of any god? It's a matter of perspective. Einstein once pondered: "What really interests me is whether God had any choice in the creation of the world."
3- Maybe if you turn mathematics .. chemistry .. etc .. around you'll find what's behind them.
4- Col. Mustard in the Kitchen with the Candlestick.

The foolishness that serves you as a substitute for knowledge and reason is a logical fallacy (a flaw in thinking) known as the "Argument From Incredulity"... which is a sub-category of the "Argumentum ad Ignorantiam" (Argument From Ignorance). It goes something like this: "I can't conceive of how this might have come to be; therefore, God did it."
That does not point to a limitation of nature... rather, it exemplifies a limitation of knowledge and/or intellect. Also, it is intellectually dishonest, since it does not (as scientists do) ACKNOWLEDGE the limitation of knowledge and/or intellect... it merely invokes the fanciful idea of a supernatural creator-entity to manifest the ILLUSION that your ideations map to reality.
'Faith' (wishful, magical thinking) is a substitute for evidence.
'Belief' (the internalized 'certainty' that you are privy to the 'truth' pertaining to some fundamental aspect of existence and/or reality) is a substitute for knowledge.
faith + belief = self-delusion and willful ignorance
****************
"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion." ~ Robert M. Pirsig
"The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance -- it is the illusion of knowledge." ~ Daniel Boorstin

Wrong. Evolution is about survival of the population. Individuals are often curious and/or need to express themselves. Both atheists and spiritualists can have these qualities.
Everything else is what we choose to do with our time here, even if it's believing in gods. No big mystery, no need to segregate and make generalizations.

I'm not going to give you a science lesson. There are many sites out there if you truly want to learn. Here is a comprehensive one.

Besides, i don't need to have an answer to any of those questions(not that i don't) to be an atheist. I am an atheist because there is no evidence for deities.
