Don't know about inexpensive - that is a personal thing. What is expensive to one may be less so to another!
Which part of Suffolk?
Australian Arms in Haverhill used to be good but haven't been there for a few years.
Newmarket and around has quite a few that are good!
If you are more to the east of the county, I can't really suggest anything.
Do you have any Hungry Horse or Witherspoons near to you - they are always worth a try - not haute cuisine - but definitely inexpensive and edible!

The lindon tree in bury st edmunds is good, nice meals and not badly priced.
You dont say whereabouts in suffolk you are.

Dog and Partridge in Bury St Edmunds is a good pub with good atmosphere and very reasonable.
