skipping - you need a skipping rope, time yourself, do ten seconds non stop, add a second a day do it every day. If your quite fit start at thirty seconds non stop.
If you do not want to use any equipment use the bottom step on your stairs. Step on and off it as fast as you can for the same time periods as above.

Hi,
You should buy a swiss ball, it comes with a series of exercises which are fantastic for your core strength so you will not injure your back and get a dvd on yoga or tai chi or if you prefer a martial art and you will feel revived after exercising and not too sore. You should prob do about 20 mins of cardio 3x per wk and then core work at least 3-4 x per week and if you can do some every day. ALways work relaxed and ensure you maintain good posture when exercising to prevent strain. Check out the web for suitable exercises. You can find a few good ones at bodybuilding.com though a lot do use machines.
Good luck!

All of them! Depending on how much time you've got. Anything that doesn't involve sitting on the couch watching tv is counted as exercise. Vigourous housework kills two birds with one stone. Try going for a long walk and build up to faster paces and finally jogging. this builds up stamina and is good cardio training

I know you want to exercise at home, but the best form of exercise is walking. Get off the bus two stops earlier and walk the rest of the journey home is great. Invest in exercise videos u can pick them up cheap enough from ASDA. Another good exercise tip is to walk up and down your stairs.

Gentle stretching to warm up and a long healthy walk. Try a treadmill and yoga. Dancing and anything that you enjoy and makes you feel good. The key is if you enjoy it. You might prefer golf, circuit training or swimming. Have fun and it will do you good.

Housework alone is a form of exercise, you are burning calories just by hoovering / vacuuming, I usually put some music on too and dance along with it.
