I'll be flying over the Atlantic in November - during fall - but according to alot of people, it's already pretty cold in November. It might even snow. I was wondering how safe it is to fly while it's snowing or just during the cold months in particular, according to my boyfriend, there's alot more turbulence. Has anyone ever flown around the same time over the Atlantic? What is your experience?

I've flown over the Atlantic at all times of the year. I can't say there is any time of year that's any more hazardous than any other. Commercial air flights are extremely safe ways to travel, and the weather conditions are taken into account multiple times during flight. Even if it is snowing on the ground, the planes fly at altitudes that are above that- it doesn't snow on a plane at cruise altitudes, only during take off and landing. Airports located in places where snow is a regular winter occurence are equiped with machinery to maintain the runway, taxiways and aircraft in wintery conditions. So relax, and enjoy your flight. Chances are good it will go smoothly and you won't notice a thing.

I just came back from a round trip from JFK to Moscow. There will be turbulence near the north part of the Atlantic ocean.

As safe as any time of the year. You crash, you crash. If you dont well then your like the other million people that fly at the same time of year and land safely!
