Do you think that God really forgives us for our past sins or do you think that there is a chance that he doesn't? Do you feel that maybe we can make him mad enough about an incedent, even after we have asked for forgiveness, that he will never forgive us? Do you ever wonder if he holds a grudge?

If you had a child, would you love it unconditionally, or never forgive it if it does something wrong? Hopefully, unconditionally.

Or if you have kids already, what can they possibly do to make you never forgive them or disown them? Hopefully, nothing.

This is how GOD feels for you. Don't be scared of being unforgiven. There is nothing you can do that you can't be forgiven for. You should just be good for the sake of being good. Not for the sake of being forgiven or not.

If God does not Forgive, then we are ALL doomed! I have always belived and been taught that God is a Forgiving GOD. and he doesnt hold grudges, only man does. He wants us to be more like HIM, but we still hold on to anger and grudges, so we never get to that point, nor do we understand how a BEING could be at that point. Let go & Let GOD and what we have to remember. once we forgive ourselves, then we can forgive others. And If we pray for forgiveness and mean it in our hearts then we will be forgiven.

God is exactly like a loving father. The Bible says whoever calls upon the name of Jesus Christ and believes in their heart will be saved. An evil person would not give thought to call upon the name of Jesus. When you do You are forgiven. Jesus was Gods ultimate sacrafice for the sins of the people He love (us).
God does get mad, at the ignorant evils of the world who will not admit they are sinners and need to be forgiven by God. If they die without ever taking the time to to look up and say God please forgive me they will be punished.
Even after you become a christian you still sin, however you develop a will not to sin and you dedicate more of your life each day to becoming more like the person Jesus is.
Jesus lived a human life, he would of enjoyed food, liesure and friends. He fealt pain anger and sorrow but because He was perfect He did it all without sin. That way He was able to be a "perfect" sacrafice for our unperfect sins. God wants to love us it's our guilt which makes us think "does God love us"?

I believe that God's forgiveness is perfect and absolute.

We hold grudges because we can't always act on our anger so instead we harbor resentment for the person we feel has wronged us. As the ultimate authority and judge God doesn't need to hold a grudge because we are in his power to do with as he chooses.

God is not a man who holds a grudge. If i came and punched you in the eye, you being a Christian would forgive me, and i would say sorry, but you would always see me as the guy who punched you in the eye.

God however will treat you as if you did nothing, aslong as you want to do his will, and don't keep disobeying

Jesus tells us that the only sin that will not be forgiven is blasphemy agains the Holy Ghost.

It is the work of the Holy Ghost within us that convicts us of our sins. When one blasphemes the Holy Ghost, He leaves your heart and you would no longer even care.

The mere fact that one would have concern about his or her sins being forgiven is a pretty good indication that you haven't.

God doesn't get mad. He remains constant and unmoving as the focal point of the universe. Sinfulness is just choosing to live in an ungodly manner thus taking your soul further away from God. Hell is only seperateness from God-heaven is only oneness with God. No judgements, no condemnation only actions and consequences that either move you closer to God or further away from him.

Hello!! :o) SATAN [or the 'Devil'] wants to keep us from God. It's SATAN who makes us doubt God's love for us. And it's SATAN who plants the seed of doubt when it comes to whether or not God has REALLY forgiven us. If you have asked God - in Jesus' Name - to forgive you of something - AND you have 'repented' [which means that you have 'turned from that sin' and will do your best NOT to do it again] you ARE forgiven. PERIOD. Being forgiven is not something we FEEL. It's something we ARE. We ARE forgiven. [Whenever we do what I said above] Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

"If we confess our sins, HE is faithful & just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrightousness." (1 John 1:9)
