Your BMI is about 24, which is well within the reccommended range for your height.
Perhaps try to eat more healthily and do more exercise, but please don't go on a low-calorie diet; dieting in your teens while your body is still changing and growing is probably the worst thing you could do to yourself.
I know because I did it myself and I am now 5 times as likely to get brittle bone disease, I get injured easily, my periods are irregular and sometimes stop for months at a time, and now I'm less likely to concieve. Crash dieting makes you lose muscle, not fat (and remember, the heart is a muscle).
If you really think you must lose weight then see a docor - s/he will tell you what the best course of action is and help you to lose it sensibly.

Everyone's saying you're too young to be on a diet ...but diet doesn't neccessarily mean not eating. It means healthy eating too!
I use be 5'6 and 210 pounds - kids use to say i had no neck. Anyways, I started eating healthy in high school. Cut off soda, chips (all junk food) and replace them with something healthier like trail mix w/ yogurt. Eat 6 small(bowl-size) meals throughout the day. Snack with nuts or fruits.
I'm still 5'6, but i weigh a sexy 160 pounds. The weight lost will be gradual, but give it some time and you'll notice some results.
Oh and exercising is just as important as eating right. 30 minutes of walking will do wonders for your body.
Hope that helps. =)

Without knowing your exact age it is difficult to say.
The reason for this is that your height is not fixed until your reach the latter part of your teens. I was quite tubby when I was about 10 or 11, but when I started secondary school and joined a rugby team my height and fitness improved. Both contributed to my weight becoming relatively normal for my age. (rather than a diet)
You may find that it is better when you are younger to become more active (go for a walk or whatever excercise you can do), rather than eat less. Unless of course you are eating too many buns and pies, in which case adjust your diet rather than reduce your diet.

I do wish that people would stop talking about losing weight rather than toning up the flesh!
You don't need to lose any weight, just get some exercise and tone up the muscles.
Muscle weighs heavier than fat - so please don't be fooled by getting on the scales - it is how all the 'Weight Watchers' and 'Slimming World' clubs make all their money without giving you the correct information.

You dont need to, if you are young just do some excerise gentle at first then build it up.
It will tone your muscles up and turn excess weight into muscel, you'll feel better too, also eating healthy will help, no junk food

hey babe, don't fret over losing weight, but better to get into healthy eating and regular exercise
my girlfriend was overweight at high school, and lost 20kgs over summer, by starving herself
now she can't eat any dairy products and still has low self esteem
enjoy yourself and don't try to force anything

However much you feel. Don't go stupid over it, be sensible about it. Cut the junk (if you do eat any) and if you don't, that's great. Get physical, do it regularly (weekly should be ok). Just enjoy your childhood, don't do diets. I don't need to tell you - they just don't work.
