Providing you by a vodaphone card there should be no problem, when you get the card go to settings and find calls and then time and cost, you should be able to put in the identification number there for your card, good luck.

If the phone (900i) is the part of the contract i mean if it is supplied by them you may face problem, again it depends on your service provider, in India there is a service provider who supplies phone along with a connection on which you can not use other chips, y don't you get a chip from some body and give a try, if they block you always can request them to enable it.
