No good reason to want to make a dog aggressive. Do the pups a favor and give them to a good home. Set up an anti-burglar alarm.

A dog will not deter a thief from breaking into your house. There used to be a show called "It Take's A Thief" on tv where two ex-burglars would demonstrate how they chose a house to break into and then how they would go about doing it. There were dogs in over half the houses they chose (some even supposedly 'trained' guard dogs) and every single dog let the thieves into the house. They would just go in the kitchen and open the fridge and let your dog pig out on whatever was in there. Statistically an alarm system is far more likely to keep your house safe than a dog. And if you can't afford an alarm system they sell signs and stickers that you can put on your windows - even that is enough to make a thief look across the street.

Let them be themselves. Wanna stop thieves.
HOW TO INSTALL A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM
1. Go to a secondhand store and buy a pair of men's used size 14-16 work boots.
2. Place them on your front porch, along with several empty beer cans, a copy of Guns & Ammo magazine and several NRA magazines.
3. Put a few giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazine.
4. Place a KKK membership sticker on every window and door.
5. Leave a note on your door that reads:
Hey Bubba, Big Jim, Duke and Slim, I went to the gun shop for more ammunition. Back in an hour. Don't mess with the pit bulls -- they attacked the mailman this morning and messed him up real bad. I don't think Killer took part in it but it was hard to tell from all the blood. We will style have our Klan meeting at the house tonight.
PS - I locked all four of 'em dogs in the house. Better wait outside.

They are beautiful dogs, but don't sell them short here. I agree with someone else here who said put up the "Beware Of Dog" signs. There's alot to be said about that sign and then the evidence of your huskies. The barking that they should do is to warn you, that says nothing about the damage they could potentially do to an intruder. Trust me, when tasked with protecting you, your huskies will defend you and make any hostile outsider wish he had found another home.

The dogs may not bite, but consider this, If they weren't your dogs and you were the burglar, would you walk into the yard where two big dogs are? Their size alone should be enough to deter any burglar in or out of the house.
You don't want to make them more aggressive. If they bite some one, friend or foe, you could be facing a law suit and hospital bills.

I have an alaskan husky .Huskies have the temperment of a wolf. they are skiddish by nature.Yes huskies are beautiful but you need to do alot of research on the breed. An you dont want them to be agressive. they just arent that way by nature. Yes they will alert you when someone is at the door or in your yard or walking by your house. They are good watch dogs.As far as being a guard dog if someone was to break in your dogs would attack them . Because they would be affraid that the stranger would hurt their pack. meaning you and your family. But as far as being a man eating dog huskies just arent that type of dog.

huskies do NOT guard. it is true that they will treat strangers as family. although i did meet ONE husky that was semi-aggressive, but she was beaten and abused. DO NOT TRY TO MAKE YOUR HUSKIES AGGRESSIVE! why? because the strangers wont be the only ones they are aggressive towards!
ps. i like what Richard J suggested! thats some funny stuff! but seriously, just get an alarm system. its ALOT easier.

Yes its very true I had one and she was a pain in the *** she would run off it would take a hour to 2 hours to get her chasing her in a car she got picked up by the pound twice cause she would pull and snap her leash even chain leashes they are good with kids but not as watchdogs I ended up selling her to a nice family and have them deal with it.
