I have to turn myself in to jail in two weeks. There i will wait to go to bootcamp in wrightsville Arkansas. I have no idea what to expect. I would like to know more about what all goes on there. What all you have to do. Is it really hard? Does it actually help people? Do the females have to shave there heads? What all do you do in the day there? I would like to know any information regarding the bootcamp in Wrightsville Arkansas

I went to bootcamp at Ft. Knox, KY for the Army. It was not too hard. I am not very athletic, but I got by just fine.

Be ready to expect lots of physical activity and learning many new things. Your first few weeks will mostly consist of learning to work with others and obeying orders. Basic training will help you to become physically and mentally stronger, along with teaching you valuable military skills. As far as I know, females do not have to shave their heads. In a typical day, expect the following:

Wake up early (5:30 am)
Do P.T. (physical training) for about 1 hour
Shower and change
Eat breakfast
Change clothes
Go to classes or training until lunch
Eat lunch
More classes or training until dinner
Eat dinner
More P.T., done on your own (6:00 pm)
Shine your boots
Take a shower
Personal time to write letters, relax, study, etc.
Go to sleep (9:00 p.m.)

Let me know if you need any more advice. Just remember, as long as you stay committed and serious, basic training will not be hard.

Good luck!

If you are a Mama's boy, yes! but just do what they tell you. I served in the army in Vietnam in 1963-1966. lost part of my right leg.. No females don't have to shave their hair, just keep it short!
Does it actually help people? You bet!!! You are not going camping, you'r going to basic training. Have Fun!!

Since you said you were turning yourself into Jail, I assume you don't mean MILITARY bootcamp. It's a part of your probation? It will be hard....just don't quit and you will get through it.

Do not take anything personally! When they get up in your face, show the discipline and courage to be strong! Its a mental and physical discipline game.......the DS are professionals! Do not act scared, but do not be disrespect full!
