The Bible prohibits the consumption of alcohol in the following verses:
a. “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging; and whosoever is
deceived thereby is not wise.” [Proverbs 20:1]
b. “And be not drunk with wine.” [Ephesians 5:18]

If the consumption of any amount of alcohol at all is a sin, then Jesus is not the messiah, because he provoked people to sin.

His first miracle, as you may recall, was to turn water to wine. Not to grapejuice, not just okay wine, but FINE wine, as sampled by a person well knowledged about wine.

Drinking alcohol is not prohibited, but drunkenness is. Jesus would not turn water into wine if it was sinful. It's about moderation. Think about it: wine in moderation has health benefits, while excess of wine damages your body. Just like eating well, and an appropriate amount of food is good (and in this case necessary), while gluttony while affect your health aversely.

Do you've faith all scripture is given through notion of God? because in case you do not, then it doesn't remember what number verses I quote, you'll under no circumstances trust what "the Bible says". Its glaring that you've been performing some analyze. So through now you should do not ignore that we as people are all sinners; none individuals are strong. we are born with a sinful nature. What does that advise? The inclination to do what's undesirable. i do not opt to do what's undesirable yet when i'm getting careless I supply in. once switched over God's nature takes over and grants us ability to lead the right direction. even as The Lord returns, our sinful nature will quit to exist and our conflict with sin will end. Homosexuality is between the most confusing sins to conflict with. No different sin so obviously impacts the body as this one does. Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians to run remote from sexual sin, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Paul is going on to assert "those who bask in sexual sin can haven't any share interior the dominion of God". He writes that God will "Abandon them to their shameful desires" If homosexuality received't get you to heaven, then it should be a sin. Do you sense that God ought to ask for forgiveness to Sodom and Gomorrah? Their sexual sins led them to destruction. If in worry-free words that they had repented and grew to change into from their concepts... Paul writes that sins should be washed away and the fellow should be made precise with The Lord. it really is what "the Bible says" and that i trust it.

Forget what the bible says. The more a woman drinks the better I look. It says nothing about rum.

Jimmy Buffet thinks its okay and he's real.
