Sure. The double protection is a good thing. It also helps reduce the mess and the potential for STDs.

Yes. For two reasons. The first being that the birth control pill is not 100% effective. I know someone who got pregnant while taking the pill. The second reason is that the pill does not do anything to protect against STDs. Unless you have both been tested for STDs and neither of you are cheating there is a risk of STDs.

Yes.... Consider for a moment the pill is only 99% effective do you want the 1% child? If your bf uses a condom it doubles up on the protection against pregnancy... Thus making you that much less likely to get pregnant...

Condoms also prevent diseases another good reason to regularly use condoms until you are in a fully committed LLLLLLLOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG term relationship...

I know you trust your bf and think he would never sleep around on you but remember when you have sex with some one you are having sex with everyone they have ever had sex with and everyone those partners had sex with before having sex with your partner and so on... It adds up very quickly.....

So yes, use a condom along with the pill it's an added safeguard against not only pregnancy...

Yes, in that case the condom would be for prevention of disease only, which is what they used to put on all the condom packages in order to get around state laws against birth control.

Those were the bad old days!

You said ,"can" my boy friend use a condom if I'm on birth control.?
Of course he can. But he does not need to.
Condom really helps in two ways. It prevents pregnancy, which is already prevented because you are on birth control.
Condom also prevents transmission Of AIDS. If you have AIDS he needs to use a condom so he doesn't catch it from you.

Of course! And I highly recommend it! Birth control is to prevent pregnancy - not any STDs. Not only would a condom help prevent STDs, it would also be an additional form of birth control - as a back up - because not all birth controls are 100%! I remember when my hubby and I didn't want to get pregant, we used multi-methods! (the pill, condom, spermacide, pull out method, and the rhythm method! haha we weren't taking any chances)

Yes he can,but you are already protected with your birth control, but it's not a bad idea if he does as then you will be well protected against STD and if it's the Pill that you are on,and you forget to take one,you have the added protection of a condom,i hope this has helped you

Yes, for 2 reasons. Prevent any possible STD's, and if you need to take an antibiotic medication at sometime in the future, this will almost certainly cancel the effects of your birth control, if you are using pills. Once you have finished any antibiotic medication, allow 6 weeks for your birth control to take effect again.

Birth control pills do not prevent the spread of any STD or HIV. If there is any possible way he could pass you a disease of any kind, continue to use the condoms.
