"Sleeping too long has another hidden, but dangerous problem. In the late morning, REM sleep is associated with the "heaviest" dreams. The dreams are usually negative and sometimes very scary. Blood pressure and sugar swing dangerously. Other metabolic systems are also disturbed. People wake up with headaches, chest discomfort, moodiness and irritability. Additionally, people who sleep too late usually gain weight significantly."

Your body has gone without food long enough that it goes into a fasting mode and is detoxing rapidly. To stop it, continue without food and clean out those toxins. Then you can sleep 15 hours with no headache. Breakfast breaks your fast. See this with quotes from 11 MDs.

Maybe that's just the way your body reacts to sleep. Test your limits and see how long you can comfortably sleep without waking up that way, and set your alarm; make sure not to oversleep.
