I'm assuming that you mean Coccidia and roundworm. Dogs get worms and can get coccidia. The person sending you the dog (it sounds like) has already paid for the stool testing and the medication required to clear up the problem. Once the medication is done, so are the parasites.

Your children are not in danger of catching either of these things unless they put his poo in their mouths.

The poor thing is already suffering the stress of the flight and a new home and family, it would be doubly stressful and sad for the dog to then be sent back, espesially over something so minor that is already being treated.

Best of luck!

I can't believe a breeder would be so incompetent and ignorant as to ship you a sick dog.
To Jessa Kat, coccidia is deadly to a puppy, so I would never call it minor. Being on medication, and still shipping the puppy is so.........cant think of a word disgusting enough to describe the breeder.
Coccidia is compounded by stress (DAH, the flight, new owner, new home)
You will be getting a SICK puppy that you will have to care for like a premature baby.
DEFINITELY get you money back, I would not deal with that breeder at all.
If the breeder is willing to ship you a sick dog, that also has worms (worms of ANY kind are sooooo easy to prevent with the very minimum of care) you do not want to have anything to do with that breeder or her puppies.
LOL and they wonder why good breeders have to defend their reputation..... because of ignorance and incompetence of a**hole breeders that should be shot.

This link will cover coccidia, causes and general info.
Read it and see if you consider it a minor problem !!!!

This wont get them sick at all taking the dog to the vet should solve the problem although it may be costly but if the dog is worth it then do it I went to the feed store myself and got the de worming medicine for my dog instead of taking her to the vet and she was fine and i gave her the booster shots myself and when taking her to her yearly check up and getting the rabies shots the vet said she was fine and what i was doing was fine as well. Besides its less stressful on the animal then going to the vet.

the least confusing answer is to tell you to undertake. whether there are some thrilling factors you made that i'd want to communicate with you on. First, there are a number of dogs in pounds, ranging in a form of an prolonged time. they are loose, different than for any cost you will could pay for adopting, yet there is no assure that an older dogs is far less healthful than a youthful dogs. And ALL shelters thoroughly examine animals for well-being issues formerly they permit them to be accompanied. in case you have an activity in any dogs that would have a undeniable well-being difficulty, there is little doubt which you would be counseled straight away approximately that difficulty. and besides, the dogs interior the shelters regularly have been given all their photographs, have been spayed or neutered, and can also have a microchip implant. All of that would upload up in case you get a domestic dog from a breeder. Now approximately getting from a breeder: PEDIGREE dogs are actually not assured sturdy well-being. in fact pedigrees regularly have a much extra probable probability of having a severe difficulty by way of fact no longer all breeders are respected. The domestic dog you're able to desire to be spending 1000's or 1000's of greenbacks on would have been inbred, would have some genetic illness that by way of fact the dogs an prolonged time turns into further and extra a severe concern, ensuing in further and extra scientific expenses. On appropriate of that, in spite of the indisputable fact that some domestic dogs would settle for his or her photographs by making use of the breeders, you will nonetheless could pass to the vet quickly upon getting your domestic dog and having it spayed or neutered, upward push as much as this factor on the photographs, etc etc. On appropriate of all this, shield and pound dogs quite choose somebody to discover them a house. those dogs are literally on loss of life row, and at times, you're able to discover that purebreed dogs which you have been finding for. by way of financial gadget, further and extra proprietors are looking that they are truthfully no longer waiting to arise with the money for that $1200 cavoodle, or that $4 hundred Labrador. And there'll constantly be some different person keen to return and pay a ton of money for a splash domestic dog, yet no longer lots of are keen to take the end results of that beautiful little domestic dog out of the cement cellular.

I personally would not a dog like that, and would send him back. Especially around kids.
