In the US you will not be able to practice US law, but would be able to practice India law for citizens of India who are visiting in the US, not representing them in US court but advising them on legal matters back in India.

To practice law in the US you have to graduate from an approved law school in the US and pass the US bar.

( only about 60 percent of law school grads in the US actually pass teh US bar.

So you need to get a degree in law in the nation you wish to practice law at.

credibility of how much degree you have from india will show on the documents

i remember a cambridge guy years ago who couldn't practise here, he had to go to school here and was not given credits for his prior schooling

your answer is your field of expertise how can you not know this first, before studies started
