NO, NO, NO, NO, NO !!!
Oh my God, please tell me you are just asking a question to provoke a response! Please!

I guess I should not be surprised to see that someone actually is stupid and gullible enough to believe this drivel after months of reading the stuff kooks have posted about 911. Just look at some of the replys you have already gotten.

President Roosevelt did not "let this happen".
For anyone to suggest that he did is an insult to a great man (human, but great none the less), and a generation that by it's accomplishments proved to be greater than the one we live in.

I am really disheartened by the total lack of respect that we have so blithely become able to show, with the absolute flimsiest of reasons, to people who have earned better.

I think they were expecting an attack somewhere in the Pacific but I'm not convinced that we had all the details to stop an attack. While there could have been more done to be ready. The woulda, coulda, shoulda game gains nothing now, other than to remind us that we need to have a strong intelligence community.

FDR was a former Assistant Sec of the Navy as was his cousin Teddy. He loved the Navy and would certainly have prevented an attack if he had the intelligience to pinpoint the date, time, and place of an attack. FDR didn't know because our intelligence services didn't know.

I don't think so. Another conspiracy theory that would have required too many people to facilitate, someone would have talked. Besides if he had know he would have been better prepared to retaliate. They damn near lost the Pacific fleet, all the battleships and the Philippines. To do this would have been too big a risk. They certainly suspected something but they weren't in on it.
