If the Qu'ran were perfect and pure, Islam would not be divided. There would be no Sunnis and Shiites, and all the other tribal sub-denominations.
The problem is the Qu'ran wasn't even written until after Mohammed died. Though Muslims of the time did their best to preserve everything he said, clearly either they failed or Mohammed failed. Isn't it a foolish thing to have the last prophet be a man who lived in an age before sound recording, satelite communications and the internet? If God wants his message spread to the entire world, without any misunderstanding, wouldn't now be the perfect time to send one final prophet?
