Well, there could be many factors involved.
1. What do you wear? .- Not to be superficial, as certainly the clothes do not define the personality of the individual, but it does give other people a cue on how to treat you. If you always wear revealing clothing, you might feel sexy, but people might think of you as an easy woman and treat you accordingly. If you dress like a prostitute expect to be treated like one (hooker as in "hook up" know what I mean?)
2. Do you have any hobbies/ general culture? .- if you want a relationship with someone, you might as well have some conversation topics other than shopping/parties/reality TV.
3. Do you have a bad reputation? Well, if so, try to clean it up! this is a hard thing to do, as people stay with the first impression. Hang out with a different crowd if necessary.
4. Respect his feelings if he's not interested.
I hope I didn't offend you, I do not know you and probably you are a normal decent girl who doesn't dress like a prostitute, but this is a common concern among certain girls I know, but the problem is that they give out all the wrong signals. They behave and dress like someone you can have sex with and dump the next day, and then they act surprised the guy didn't stay around.

You must first be physically appealing without going overboard with the make-up.
And, second, be someone who can be relied upon to go to a ball game, fishing, movie, etc...that doesn't involve getting dressed up and at the same time always remember you are the girl in the relationship.
And, if you want something, ask him. At a party, 'gee, I wish I had some more ice in my drink'.

I'm going to give you the god honest truth -
STOP HOOKING UP WITH HIM!
Even if the sex is great, don't hook up with him. If you want him to go out with you to dinner, movies etc., you can't be givin him the goods.
Make him work for it.

, AAAAAHHHHH yes, well sorry to say it, but you CAN'T make anyone like you, or love you, Just be yourself and see what happens. If nothing else, you could have a great friendship, which is even harder to find. I've been there, still there kinda. It hurts like hell, but I've grown from it. Good-luck. *hugs*

Communicate!
Ask him about his dating past.
What are his objectives!
The more you learn about him, the closer you'll be to being less of a fling!
