C-section? I have had 2. My first one, I was 18 and I lost the weight really fast. Now, 2 years ago, I had my second C-section and I CANNOT get this weight off my belly. It's so saggy and I have no muscle...it sucks and I also have this loose, saggy tire around my waiste....any of you have any great ways that helps? What was the best thing that you did, ate, or took to help lose the EXTREMELY stubborn belly fat. Im too young to look like I have had 7 kids....NO OFFENCE....it's just that my body looks worn out and I have only had 2 kids. (8 years apart) HELP PLEASE????

a great and stressless way to lose the extra inches would be investing in one those plastic gym balls- looks like a huge beach ball, you do sit-ups on it.

I had my 6 1/2 year old naturally, but then I had my 6 month old by emergency C-Section. It took me a good 4 years to lose the weight with my first, but I think it was because I lived in a town where I knew no one and never left my house. With my 6 month old I was fitting into pants that were too small before I concieved after about 2-3 months of having him.

I think the main reason I lost all the weight is because my husbands car broke and he had to use mine for work, so I had to walk my 6 year old the 6 blocks to and from school every day, so I was walking a good 24 blocks a day pushing the baby in the stroller. I lost almost all the weight I gained while pregnant in the first month and a half.

Every time I try and lose weight I have noticed that the only thing that actually works is walking. It is easier for me to have the stroller to push, that way it gives me something to do and I am not self concious the whole time. Also walking with a friend makes it easier.

Good Luck, hope every thing works out for you!

I've had two c-sections and I'm about to have my third early next year. I've been lucky that I lose the belly fat very fast. I don't keep the sagginess that many c-section patients get. Hopefully that won't change. If your tummy is very saggy then you may need plastic surgery. You probably have toned muscles but no one can see them because of the extra skin that is there. There is no cure for excess skin. Have you ever seen those very obese people who lose a ton of weight? They have excess skin that just hangs and they have to have surgery to take care of it. If your skin is saggy then I suspect you don't have actual belly fat. You just have too much skin. Maybe see your doctor and ask for options. Those kind of surgeries are not as expensive as they used to be.

If you do think you have actual fat then you need to exercise daily. Drink lots of water. Cut back on sugar. Look at labels and beware of anything that contains high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. This means you shouldn't be eating prepackaged foods. Some good exercises for the abs are the exercise ball as someone already mentioned. Also, kick boxing works the abs too. Mix it up with pilates and yoga.

Good luck!

I had the same problem. I had my son at 20 by C-section and it's been hell getting rid of the loose wrinkly skin.
The only thing that worked for me (after 5 years of hell) was basically just shocking my body back into shape. I went on a daily1000 calorie diet Mon-Fri, then up to between 1200-1500 calories on Sat and Sun for a month. I lost two inches off my waist in a month just by doing that. My stomach looks pretty good now, I do alot of crunches and I've really worked on building some muscle on my abs to kinda fill out the bit of skin that's left. Surgery however, will fix the problem right away if you can afford it.

I had a c-section when i was 21 with my one and only child (I'm 26 now) and even though i weigh only 120 pounds my stomach is a bit flabby.

It is hard to lose that stomach fat...The best thing would be i think is sit-ups and walking.

I have had two children. I am over weight just slightly but it has nothing to do with the fact that Ive had two kids. Its because Ive been abit lazy. After having my second baby I was back in shape within 6 months. Its all about healthy diet and exercise and nothing to do with having children. Too many people use their kids as an excuse to hide behind weight gain.

it unquestionably relies upon on you. I date a 38 12 months previous guy with a 7 12 months previous daughter. She is a significant exhilaration in my life. yet i'm 7 years older than him, and characteristic 3 (grown and teen) little ones of my very own. it unquestionably relies upon concerning to the type you experience, and while you're prepared to be 2nd to her. i'm pleased with it, yet are you?

i don't really have any answers but i just wanted to let you know my daughter has the same problem after c-section for her 2nd baby. she's pretty much given up and accepted herself as she is and has decided to not worry about losing weight until she's done having kids..she wants 1-2 more. her husband doesn't have a problem with it so thats a good thing. good luck...be happy!

I know exactly what you're saying and the answer is going to suck but it's the truth -- you need to get plastic surgery. Nothing else is going to get rid of the loose skin. It's expensive, but well worth it. Just make sure you've gotten rid of the fat before you get the skin tucked.

My mother had 3 c-sections. Her stomach is really nasty and it has been many many years since. She has done ab workouts and everything. I wish you the best of luck.
