1 John 1:1-10

1 That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard,
that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and
our hands touched, concerning the Word of life 2 (and the life
was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you
the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was
revealed to us); 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare
to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our
fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Yeshua the
Messiah. 4 And we write these things to you, that our joy may
be fulfilled.

5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce
to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the
darkness, we lie, and don't tell the truth. 7 But if we walk in
the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one
another, and the blood of Yeshua the Messiah, his Son, cleanses
us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we haven't sinned, we make
him a liar, and his word is not in us.

I'm not sure what is the point of these verses? Could you, perhaps, give a little summary of what you're trying to say afterwards?

And to the one above me, the Bible says in Revelation, right after the counting of the 144,000, "After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.” These are others who are not part of the 144,000, but who are obviously subservient to God and Jesus, and who are pleasing to him. And it's not the angels, because they too are mentioned right after this verse. Jesus spoke of a little flock, but also that there would be "other sheep". These other sheep also have a hope for the future, although they are not a part of the 144,000.

Why continue to put faith in an invisible savior who cares for you about as much as you care about whats in the toilet, Do you god fearing people realize that if it all does come true, then only 144 000 of us are going to be saved, the rest will be dammed. The last look on the world population we are close to 7 million people. What makes you so special that your not going to be one of the 6.856 billion people dammed. If you seriously believe that, seriously read the bible again, and this time understand what you read, because the bible says two plus two equals five, and we all know thats not true.

Yes you need more...
John 1:1-14 - a good read that explains a bit more.
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.

3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood[a] it.

6There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. 7He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. 8He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.[b]

10He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of natural descent,[c] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[d] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

God is everything good and everything true. This is called the marriage of good and truth. Only God has life in Himself. Man is only a receptacle of the one life.
