I don't know if you are a member of a church and have been receiving help from any Christian organisation. I do hope you have. It's wonderful that you have overcome alcohol addiction, but you do need more help. I don't know where you live but if you are close to Birmingham contact Bethel, this is an amazing Christian group who have saved many hundreds of drug and alcohol addicts all over Europe. It is run by ex addicts and they understand exactly what you have been through. The Bible says praise God in all circumstances you are doing that and may God Bless you and give you peace

Don't focus in on the bad responses here, you have some great answers too, and maybe that's how God makes his voice heard. There's a sad joke in the name you gave yourself, but remember the prodigal found his way, keep faith that you can too.
Yahoo Answers is a tempting way to ask deeply troubling questions because you can back away from all the answers with a click of a mouse, but you have to seek more tangible help-keep the faith for a little longer, be strong for a litttle longer, you will find it was worth it for all sorts of reasons that are invisible to you at the moment.
Good luck, mate!

There is no pain that would make suicide a good choice and believe me I have had pain that has made me want to die. Where there is life there is hope. Hold on because God has faith in you. He will not put on us anything that we can not bear and when we are tempted he will show us the way of escape. Things always seem darkest at night. God Bless You!!

i don't be responsive to once you're a member of a church and have been receiving help from any Christian enterprise. I do wish you have. that is amazing which you have triumph over alcohol dependancy, yet you do choose extra help. i don't be responsive to the place you reside yet once you're on the fringe of Birmingham touch Bethel, this may well be a great Christian team who've saved many 1000's of drug and alcohol addicts throughout Europe. that's administered by making use of ex addicts and that they understand precisely what you have been via. The Bible says compliment God in all circumstances you're doing that and would God Bless you and provide you peace

Which God are you thanking. The bible says there are two. The one true God was not responsible for your pain and suffering. It was the God of this world who comes only to steal kill and destroy. He destroyed the good life you enjoyed. It was him that gave you pain. And it was him that has given you the 'crap' you mentioned. The one true God has made it available to be free of all that. To live a life that is more than abundant and enjoy all the great things again.

He helped you give up your addiction so you could start to see your way to the first steps to this life. But are you going to give up now? Are you going to throw the blessings out before you have them?

Which would you rather? Give up and let the evil God win by destroying another life? Or rise up and overcome and receive the blessings and deliverance the true God wants you to have so you can have the power he promised and not only drive all the garbage out of your life, but help others do so too and really mess up the plans of the one who hurt you so much.

He hurt me too. He many times brought me to the brink of suicicde. He has tried to kill me by accidents, attempted murder, etc. Ten times he has tried to kill me. Four times he has tried to convince me to kill myself. I'm still here. I learned and accepted God's deliverance and now I stand against the evil one. I help others drive him out of their lives and help them to be free.

I'm not alone. There are others like me. Care to join us? Care to get one back on the one who destroyed things fro you?

Its available if you want. Email me. My email can be found on my profile. If you want me to tell you more and let you know what's avaialble and how we can all ruin the plans of the one who hurts and destroys. No obligation. If you find it doesn't suit you you will have lost only a bit of time. And time is something you can take or leave if you are feeling as I felt when it happened to me.

Wayward sun I do not think that God would answer your last question the way you want it to.
I empathise with your pain.If you do believe in GOD find yourself in church, get support from church members,Read your bible. There is always comfort found in his word.Especially the Book of Psalms.
Do not stay by yourself.Talk to someone. When you sit yourself down to really pray,BE STILL and listen to His voice.God does want to see you suffer. He LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW.Be encouraged.God did not give you a spirit of fear but a spirit of POWER and LOVE and a SOUND MIND.BELIEVE

My dear Friend, We have all asked the same question that you are asking now, but don't forget life is always worth living, even in pain when you think you can't take it any more , you get strength of getting over it, their is beauty in life even in the pain, and sadness of life, and the bright next day is brighter and ever livelier then ever, be strong since I am convinced the you are, believe on the stronger energies who are saving you, and watching you and crying your tears, as I am for your sensitive hart.
be one with yourself and get with your own strength and strength of the cosmos over your pain and sadness, which I am sure you are able to do so, Tomorrow is another day, and believe me it is beautiful and smiling at you.
in my hart I am with you and sending you energy to be strong and accept the pain, and get over it .

We have all asked that question and are rewarded with silence. But what happens next? You don't die. You pick yourself up and you go on. If your a believer then you give the credit to God for giving you the strength to go on. If not then...you give the credit to yourself what ever way it works out your still alive and your still here and no matter what anyone says you making it one step at a time! **** anyone can die its living that's the hard part! Keep on fighting! Death sucks! oh and happy 84k go f*** yourself...please.

I sense real anguish but you have to remember you're not alone. Many people have to endure pain in their life and what doesn't destroy you only makes you stronger. It isn't nice enduring suffering but if you come through it with a bit of dignity and courage then you will be a better person because of it.
