For me, it's a wonderful one. Care to tell me how this old world's treating you?

WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

Written by: George Weiss & Bob Thiele
Performed by: Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin', "How do you do?"
They're really saying, "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Oh yeah :)

Baby Girl....If you know me, you know I'm an atheist. I make my own happiness, as do you.

For the most part, my life is in the rear view mirror.

Been places, done things and it's been a wild and glorious ride at times, but at others a calm and peaceful respite.

Each day is to be enjoyed and taken for what it is. Most of my days are gone, but I'm always anxious to see what the next one brings me. It's like a gift to be opened and made the most of.

And soon, they come to an end... to make way for the next generations and their wild rides with calm respites...

:-)

This is my opinion about me and hence my world:
Lets look at things this way - I am a citizen of the three physical dimensional (plus the fourth dimension being time) cosmos which itself may be one cosmos in the multitude of multiple dimensional cosmos (plural).

My cosmos contains my universe which contains my local cluster of galaxies which contains the Milky Way Galaxy (My Galaxy), on one of the outer peripheries of one of my galaxy's spiral arms is Sol (my star) which contains my planet Earth which contains the continent of Asia which contains my country India which contains Karnataka - the state in which I currently reside in, which contains my city of residence Bangalore which contains the suburb I live in, which contains the street I live on, which contains my house.

My universe is estimated to be around 10-15 billion years, old, my star -Sol or Sun a middle aged second generation 5 billion year star, life on my planet is estimated to have evolved around 3-4 billion years ago, my species around 2-4 million years ago and I'll consider myself fortunate if I live even for one-tenth of a millennium.

On a cosmic scale, even my galaxy may appear as just a blemish and may be unnoticeable in the fabric of space, and I would not even be the size of a speck- but - the ripple that I (any human) could cause in the still waters (the cosmos) could change the course of history, of space of existence/s. So why should I limit myself to a country or a race or a caste or a religion or a continent or a creed (narration intentionally not in order)? As I said - I am a citizen of the cosmos, or a multitude of cosmos (plural)

There can never be anyone else like me at this point in space in this given instant of time ever. I am unique (and so is every other creature!).
Oh! The Creator of these wonders! I thank thee!
Life's Lovely! Love & Live Life!

I LOVE that song. It's the greatest. This world is wonderful to me. I love being alive. There is so much pleasure in the simple things and I find so much to be thankful for. Sure, there is lots that's crummy, but I've learned to accept what is. I feel very loved and every day that I take another breath is a gift.

Oh yeah! Some days are just peachy and rainbowy and stuff.....but today is a different day for me.

I had a few peculiar events occur today, that put me in a bit of a funky mood. I saw the blue sky and the white clouds and the faces of people going by....but I was in a "learning" phase.....learning that bad stuff happens and I have to accept that it's my turn. Grrrrrrrrr!!!

How dare you be happy! How rude!

Just kidding my friend....I'm having a bad day, but I still see the light in your question. But you did ask??? Did you not???

I am thankful for each new day. It's a messed up world these days but life itself is wonderful! I feel sorry for people who take it for granted, they don't know what they're missing. Love that song by the way.

Beautiful song. Thanks for sharing the lyrics, made me want to hear it again. It's a wonderful world for me too, bud.

Nothing like looking out at all the LIFE on a nice summers day, and thinking to yourself "It's friggin' amazing to be a part of all this!".

I wish it were all that great... I really do. But it's just not. We are over-run with too many people insisting they are right and not respecting each other or their beliefs. Too many people are dying for no good reason. Too many people are making money they don't deserve for doing things that don't matter while other people, especially children, are dying from hunger and lacking basic needs.

It makes every day tiresome just to get out of bed.

The world of yesterday was glorious, the world of today is even much more wonderful:

Though we all, among ourselves, in our devotional allegiance have our own individual loyalties, to all of us 'Abdu'l-Bahá brings, and has brought, a message of Unity, of sympathy and of Peace. He bids us all be real and true in what we profess to believe; and to treasure above everything the Spirit behind the form. With him we bow before the Hidden Name, before that which is of every life the Inner Life! He bids us worship in fearless loyalty to our own faith, but with ever stronger yearning after Union, Brotherhood, and Love; so turning ourselves in Spirit, and with our whole heart, that we may enter more into the mind of God, which is above class, above race, and beyond time.
-Abdu'l-Baha - Abdu'l-Baha in London, p. 34"
