That a lot of the modern versions of the Bible have the (what I call power scriptures) removed or distorted in them. Mostly the scriptures about the BLOOD and scriptures about FASTING. Because that is where we defeat the Enemy.

You can check this out in the back of a strongs concordance or on the web im sure.

I prefer the KJV myself how bout you?

Yes, I know that they have. I also prefer the King Jame Version. People seem to forget that the Bible stipulates that NOTHING is to be removed or added to the scriptures.
They say it is for the modern society but what does that have to do with deleting some very important data from the Word? The modern world NEEDS the REAL Word now, more than ever.
I think it has to do with people trying to find an easier way to get to heaven and so the devil tries to deceive them into thinking this is the thing to do. God have mercy on us all.

You are wrong. The "power" Scriptures were never removed. The only Scriptures that were removed were those that the Protestants eliminated from the canon because they were not in the Jewish canon. The KJV is a beautiful and poetic Bible but because of the archaic terms that have long since lost their meaning in modern English, it is very hard to understand. The New American Bible did not come from the last translation made. The Bible scholars, both Protestant and Catholic, translated it directly from the original languages or oldest extant form in which the text existed. Every possible means of getting the best translation was used including contemporary literature, and archeology.
