In 1209, the Crusade commander Arnold Aimery, the Papal Legate at the siege of Beziers, ordered his men: “Do not show mercy to age or sex. Kill them all, God will know his own!”
“…What do you think about this slogan of war that is occasionally expressed in the military environment--sometimes jokingly, sometimes seriously? Is it humorous or repulsive? Is it biblical or blasphemous? Interestingly, though it is heard today in conversations, read on bumper stickers and worn on T-shirts, it is not a new sentiment. In fact, it expresses the feelings of a churchman nearly a thousand years ago, who, when asked by a military commander on the battlefield for assistance in distinguishing between Christians and non-Christians replied, "Kill them all. God will know which are His." (http://www.leaderu.com/humanities/demy.html)

In 1964, the Muslim population of Liberia was ten percent, and they suffered greatly. Unless you were Christian, the missionaries would not give you medical treatment. Today, the Muslim population of Liberia is twenty percent, but the missionaries are proselytizing them.

The Christian army raped thousands of Bosnian Muslim women during the war.
CRUSADES Butchered everyone including defenseless women and children or any one else that got in there way.
Although it has taken many hundreds of years Crusaders have improved they now only kill some women and RAPE THE
REST.
The twentieth century has seen "Ethnic Cleansing" replace the word Crusade; in 1996 one of the youngest recorded victim
of rape in Bosnia was a baby of 4 Months old. Many women and children had two of there fingers severed by the Serbs so
that the three remaining fingers would remind them of the Trinity. (A Guide to Missionary Tactics)
some two million bosnian muslims died because of their faith

Anyone that has sincerily read the bible has read and knows inside as well that: those that love death HATE GOD.
so.....the real question here is, were those that willingly out of ignorance/hatred/personal gain truely "christians".
THE ANSWER IS NO.
"by their fruits in fact, you shall know them.
ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED IS FALSE, and those that teach such things lead the way to destruction not only for those that would believe and partake in such wicked actions(sin) but they themselves fall victim to their own destruction(damnation) as false teachers, whom the Lord declared that it would be better to hang a milestone around thier neck, than to even deceive on of his own(a true disciple/follower of Him.) -LIVE4TRUTH =]

Why do muslims only tell one side of the story. When the muslims attacked anybody, in any country, they made it a point to kill all but the young girls, and then rape and torture them. This was the orders of Mohammed. Do you know how many children are in orphanages in bosnia, because their Catholic mothers were raped by muslim men? And where were the muslim doctors in Liberia? certainly not helping their own people. No, they were out raping, murdering and torturing people in the countryside so they couldsteal their land. And arabic muslims were neither wanted, nor invited . itwas a country of freed black slaves and their decendents. They didn't want arabs trying to take over. And in battle, the enemy is the enemy, no matter what his religion.
And if you want to talk about knowing a people by their fruits, take a look at all the terrorist activity in the world today 99% is done by muslims. What does that say?

As a Christian I am ashamed of the crusades...
By their fruits you shall know them has nothing at all to do with the crusades or "ethnic cleansing".
ethnic cleansing is blasphemous...the crusades had NOTHING to do with god. It was to take away the stronghold the Muslim worlds had on world trade at that time. It was all about making more money for the Europeans...don't believe me? Look at any history book...hell take a history class and look into the politics leading up to them.
The only part religion had to play in it was the catholic church happened to be in support of the wars...and we know how many wonderful things the catholics have done in the past for the sake of FORCEFULL conversion...this is also not-biblical.
What people don't realize is this war we are fighting now...is a result of feelings still held by the Muslim world concerning the crusades...then our idiot president actually USED THE WORDS crusade when talking about our going over there...what an idiot. That really helped the feelings. There is so much people DON'T know about this war it's amazing.
Here's another verse for you about this wonderfull war we're in
There are NON righteous, NO NOT ONE.
We have as much blood on our hands as they do, we are all so freaking self-righteous that we think America is right in doing whatever our govt. does. I wouldn't trust the govt. with my life and I don't.
We need to leave them alone, stop waging war because we are JUST as much in the wrong as they are...if you folks only knew how in the wrong we are...I don't understand how there hasn't been riots on the streets yet...what's the point I guess...I'm done

This does not appear to be a question, and I'm having a difficult time following your point. I never see that slogan on a bumper sticker. I don't know what that has to do with your question. It seems like this whole question is aimed to make Christianity as a religion look bad. Don't you understand that many evil people who are not Christians used the Christian religion, and distorted the scripture for thier own gain? All religions have done that. I don't think all religions should be dismissed because of the actions of so called believers. The Islamic Terrorists are not following thier own scripture when they kill innocent people. All the evils of so called Christians are due to not following what it is taught in the Bible. I think it's a rather simplistic view to only look at the bad things people have done in the name of religion and not look at the good things, or look at the teachings and see that it's good.

I should not be answering this question. The information you have posted here, has me horrified!
I originally clicked on the question, because of the "By their fruits you shall know them" opening line that you chose to entice me to read the rest of this. By my own choice, I read it all and I continue to answer.
The Bible that I have read implies that a good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit, and so we can use discernment in knowing the good from the bad, by their actions.
The remainder of your post, makes the point all the more clear.

Dude, just because someone claims to be a follower of Christ doesn't mean they really are. But there are hypocrites in every religion. Every religion. Every. Religion. Not just Christianity.
