That kinda hurt my feelings and didn't make me feel accepted. I know I am curious and like answers and joke about it...

Is it just me, or was this rude of him?

maybe he is just a direct person. Tell him that you need a senstive side when he is communicating to you. Or dump him

I am unsure if I understand your question, but it appears that he is attempting to 'label' you as 'pushy' to divert attention to the fact that he doesn't want to answer you or confront whatever the issue was. Labeling you as something negative takes the focus off the true issue because it hurts your feelings and makes you back down. You have no right to nag or demand that someone answer you, but at the same time you don't have to allow someone to call you pushy when you are simply curious. Your feelings are valid even if you were pushy in his mind and it doesn't appear that he is very sensitve to your feelings. He could have discussed where he was at without calling you pushy.

I like pushy or bossy girls. Maybe he said he accepts it, but that shouldn't be right. Maybe more of he likes it, but not accepts it. Perhaps he was looking for a pushy response...? ;)

Do not get upset , it is a normal thing , try to discuss with him the matter and if he is right try to cure the matter.
